Jobpac Connect 2021-R4…

The fourth release of Jobpac Connect for 2021 is just around the corner, scheduled for 21st November, to cap off another big year in development with more than 80 new features released in 2021. The R4 Release is also special as the Web User Interface receives an uplift towards Trimble branding and Style Guides. Release notes will be distributed and attached to this blog post by Monday 15th. We will also be running a Release Webinar on Thursday 18th to take you through the changes (invites to be sent out shortly) and a link to register will also be posted here by the 15th if not before.

There will be a Scheduled Maintenance Window on Sunday 21st November.

You may want to distribute the following guide to your users in advance of the R4 Release. This Knowledge Base Article describes changes to the User Interface and can also be found in the support portal. KB – Jobpac Connect UI Changes with the 2021-R4 November Release

Regarding STP2…

We are still on target to be STP2 Ready by January 1st with most of the code going into the 2021-R4 Release in dark mode. The Dev team is currently in Extended Conformance Testing (ECT) phase with the DPO for the whitelisting of our solution before we can make it generally available (GA). And, for peace of mind, we have applied for a deferral on behalf of all our customers, until June 30th 2022, just in case anything happens between now and then in terms of delay, and also to allow our customers more time to transition across to STP2. I have included a link (below) to the official ATO Deferral Letter, that covers all our Jobpac Customers. Download it and keep it on file as a reference. When we do make STP2 generally available, we will also release transition notes in an update to our STP documentation. OZEDI are also STP2 ready.

STP2 Customer Deferral notice can be downloaded at this link. DSP Deferral Notice – Jobpac Connect

Kind Regards
